Who can invest with Endow?
How can I invest with Endow?
To invest with Endow, all we require is that you complete our online application form, verify your identity and address and certify that you’re a Wholesale investor (please note we may require further information on request).
How is interest paid?
Interest is paid monthly in arrears to Endow. Endow then distributes this interest to its investors by crediting their nominated banking account.
What fees does Endow charge its investors?
Investing through Endow is completely free of charge. There are no hidden fees or signup fees.
Is there a minimum investment amount?
Yes, the minimum investment amount is $5,000.00.
What entities can invest?
Any entity (including Companies or Trusts) is able to invest with Endow, provided that the entity is able to confirm that they are a Wholesale Investor and compliant with all applicable regulatory requirements.
Am I able to withdraw my invested funds before maturity?
Investments are for a fixed term and your principal will remain invested until the Borrower repays the loan. However, should you wish to exit the investment early for any reason, we are able to offer your investment on our Secondary Market for other investors to take over.
What are my tax responsibilities?
Interest is paid monthly in arrears to our Investors and tax is deducted by Endow at your nominated Resident Withholding Tax rate.
How does Endow keep my money and investments protected?
Endow Limited manages the loans on your behalf from subscription to repayment. Endow Nominees Limited holds investors’ money and all securities in trust on behalf of all the Investors which means your investments are kept separate from the day to day operations.
What interest rate can I earn with Endow?
Currently the interest rates being achieved by investors are between 5.5% and 7.5% p.a.
What are your Endow Identify & Endow Diversify funds?
Endow Identify is an investment option that allows our investors to identify and assess each individual investment that they would like to contribute to. Our Endow Diversify fund allows for Endow to manage your investment portfolio and we spread your total investment funds across a range of different loans to allow for continuous returns.
What happens if a borrower is late on their interest payments or defaults on their repayments?
If a borrower is late in paying, or doesn't pay, you won't be paid until their payment is received. It’s important to remember that with every form of investing there are always risks attached. To mitigate this risk we encourage Investors to diversify their investment amount across a portfolio of multiple loans.
Who is eligible to borrow?
be at least 18 years of age
not be bankrupt or insolvent
have no previous convictions for fraud or dishonesty
pass our credit assessment
pass our verification requirements in relation to identity and personal information to comply with the provisions of the AML/CFT regulations (Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act 2009) in providing the relevant customer due diligence as required;
provide supporting information on our Borrower Registration Form or as requested by us at any time.
Can Investors ask me questions about my loan application?
No, Investors are not able to contact Borrowers directly. Your loan is managed by Endow on behalf of the Investors.
How do I become a borrower?
To become a Borrower you must complete a Borrower Registration Form and provide the relevant supporting information. We will confirm with you once registration is complete.
Do I need a New Zealand bank account?
Yes, all Borrowers must have a NZ bank account in the name of the Borrower pursuant to our Fraud and Anti-Money Laundering Policy.
How long are the loan terms?
Loans are typically for a period of 12 months, however we will consider applications for a period of 6 – 24 months on a case by case basis.
If I apply for a loan, do I have to proceed with it?
No, you can withdraw your application at any time until the loan is fully subscribed or the listing period for the loan ends (whichever is later).
What happens if my loan does not get fully funded?
You will have an opportunity to either extend the listing period for a further period of time or withdraw your loan application.
What happens after my loan is approved?
We will issue a Loan Offer outlining the terms and conditions of the loan for your approval.
What interest rate do I pay?
Our interest rates are calculated on a case by case basis and the range is detailed in our Fee Schedule. Your specific rate will be detailed in vour Loan Offer.
Can I repay my loan early?
Our loan documentation provides you with the opportunity to repay your loan early, however you will be required to pay an early repayment fee. This fee is outlined in our Fee Schedule.
What happens if I make a late repayment or miss an interest payment?
We will contact you to ascertain the reason for the late or missed payment and you may be charged a late payment fee as detailed in our Fee Schedule.
